Katadyn Drip Ceradyn Water Filter

Katadyn Drip Ceradyn filter is characteristic because it does not use electricity, has no moving parts or uses any pumping system. For this reason, we are facing an ideal option for filtering water, especially suitable for large groups (over 10 people). It has wide possibilities of use. Ideal for hunting, fishing and mountain huts. It can even be used by international aid organizations in the water treatment process.

Its filtering capacity can be estimated at 4L / h. Its useful life could translate into a filtering of approximately 150'000L (depending on the quality of the water).

This product consists of three silver-impregnated ceramic elements through which it is able to eliminate bacteria, protozoa and other disease-causing agents present in water. It should be noted that microorganisms cannot pass through the mini-pores of the filter ceramic (0.2 microns) due to their size (greater than 0.2 microns = 0.0002 mm).

Unlike disposable filters, ceramic can be cleaned numerous times. The benefits are longer use and lower operating costs.
