Heatsink for Via Ferratas Phario Palm Singing Rock

Heatsink for Via Ferratas Phario Palm Singing Rock, is a device designed to dissipate energy in Via Ferratas, ropes courses and adventure parks.

The Phario Palm by Singing Rock is a stitched tape heatsink.

It is a safety device, mandatory in the Via Ferratas, whose function is to dissipate as much energy as possible when a fall occurs, so that our body does not suffer such a great impact force at the moment of the blow.

Among all the types of heatsinks that exist on the market, for Vias Ferratas those with sewn tape are recommended, since, at the moment of the blow, when a fall occurs, the tape unravels, which manages to dissipate most of the energy, to cushion the shock of our body. When the tape is unstitched, it reaches a length of 1.9 meters.

This heatsink has Palm carabiners (type K, according to EN 12275) with automatic closure and Keylock technology.

It presents elastic arms of 50 cm in length, which reach a maximum elongation of 90 cm. When the heatsink is activated, it has a maximum length of 190 cm.

This heatsink can be used by both children and adults, weighing between 40 and 120 Kg.

Presents a connecting strap, which is attached to the harness through a lark knot.

The ribbon ring that it presents in the center, has a resistance of 12 KN, and its main function is that of our assurance and rest.

The elastic arms have been subjected to a demanding resistance check, using a cyclical machine, until reaching a minimum of 50,000 cycles.

Each elastic arm has a different color (yellow or black), so that its identification and handling is done quickly and easily.

The carabiners are made of stainless steel, aluminum alloy, PES and PAD. They have a wear indicator, through a line on the body of the carabiner, which warns us when the carabiners have reached their maximum wear, so that they are not used.

The Phario Palm also has a tear indicator, located on the heatsink bag, by which we can quickly check the status of the tape, by means of a label that verifies the drops.

Always check the heatsink, before and after each use. In the event that the absorber (white strap) is outside the textile cover, it would indicate that the shock absorber has been activated, and in that case the heatsink should be replaced with a new one.
